About the Chemin Neuf Community Chemin Neuf ("New Path" or "New Way", in english) is a Roman Catholic community with an ecumenical vocation, founded in 1973 in Lyon, France. Alexandra's brother, Father Jean-David, has belonged to this community since 1993. The Chemin Neuf Community has grown to become an international organisation with over a thousand members and houses in many countries in Europe, Africa, America and the Middle East.
